Diwali of Terrorist bombs in India! -Biplab Pal , 7/28/2008 These are the days of Nirvana-Whenever I call up anybody in India, after explosion in Ahmedabad and Bangalore, they have given up their extreme anger and frustration to an indifferent state of existence left to invisible chance of probabilistic survival. Nobody knows when and where the next bomb will explode except the assurance that it will surely explode to expose archaically rusted Indian security system. Questions that all the Indians are asking at this time-do we have a security system in place? India has three big white elephants-CBI, IB and RAW. More or else they are being pumped public money to protect India from threat of terrorism and subversive activities. Going by the non-existence nature of Indian security system, every Indian is doubtless about the failure of Indian security agencies. Indian Mujadeheen, as the perpetrators are calling themselves, is Indian face of Paki HUJI. Allegedly, there is a change in Pakistani policy towards India in the matter of terrorism--Indian grown terrorists are in high demand seemingly to avoid the political compliance of Pakistani terrorists. But it does not matter-any act of terrorism needs these elements--ideology, financial support, logistical support and political sympathizers. From ideological stand point, we all know it is for a dream of a pan-Islamic state from Middle east to Indonesia. This is the stated goal of HUJI and SIMI. Although this idea can be sold to majority of the Muslims since their Islamic existence does not lie in the quest of true spiritual Islam but in identity crisis to boost self esteem as Muslim, very few of them would actually agree to extend themselves for a terrorist cause-just because they also want to share the prospect of better life like Hindus. Question is-who are these Muslims who are buyers of the terrorist ideology? Scan the profiles of SIMI leaders and you will conclude very easily. They are highly educated Muslim youths full of hatred against liberal western ideas-we call Atta syndrone. In the case of India, for a local twist, their email also made it clear that they have declared war against Hindu capitalism and oppression to gain momentum and gather support of misguided Indian Muslims. Oppression is the most sacred and politically suave word for revolutionaries for ages-and it does exist in all the nations and against all the people with varying magnitude. Therefore, it is the most easily justifiable cause for terrorism and to inspire the followers for terrorism. But why there is a buyer? Who are putting up with these buyers of terrorist ideologies? This question will open the Pandora box. Most of the SIMI leaders in UP were patronized and nurtured by Samajbadi Party-who are not at all ashamed to use money, fanaticism-anything that would bring them power as we have seen even in recent no confidence motion. Ask this question straight-what is the difference in ideology between Swamajbadi Party MP Abu Azmi and any SIMI leader? Is there any? How will you uproot this terrorism when you have Indian political parties who support and sympathize with Islamic ideology of Indian Mujadiheen solely to exploit identity crisis of the Muslims? How these terrorists are managing logistical support? Obviously from Indian Muslim communities. Why then some of them are even agreeing to it when such act of terrorism is actually tarnishing Islam? Or they don't bother because their founder Prophet Muhammad waged 81 wars to establish Islam and therefore, carrying out Jihadi activities is part of Islamic duty? Even Krishna inspired Arjun into battle to eliminate enemy and oppression. But a Hindu would turn to Maoism than Krishna for his revolutionary inspiration. How would you explain this contrast? This anomaly can only be explained by the fact that there exists a large Muslim support base for pan-Islamic ideologies which needs to be eliminated by Muslims themselves. That is not possible when most of the Muslim law makers of India would proudly say they are Muslim first and Indian second with glaring display of their obedience to pan-Islamism as we have observed in the case of Taslima Nasrin. Whether you would agree or disagree-this is a ongoing battle between Indian nationhood versus Islamic nationhood-Khalifat. ISI might be financing it-but truth of the matter is-Indian Muslims also need to do their own house cleaning-purging the medieval idea of pan-Islamism from their community which is perhaps one of the most domineering idea in the Muslim community in the name of Islamic brotherhood.On the other hand, we are observant of the fact that Indian political leaders are endorsing the idea of pan-Islamism purely for vote-bank destabilizing the concept of 'India'. Quran in Sura nine, very specifically stated hypocrisy and double standard would never help any cause. It also specifies hypocrites as much bigger threat than real enemy whom you can see and fight with. I am sure our Muslim brother would realize that everybody is doing business taking advantage of their identity crisis as 'Muslim'. Therefore, first job they need to do-proclaim themselves as Indian first. Also majority of Hindus do not have a very sympathetic attitude towards Muslims. Very often we discriminate them in jobs, education and housings. I have seen Hindus proudly proclaiming this kind of discrimination as their ultimate revenge against Islam. This kind of stupidity and vengeance must end. Please stop this kind of discrimination against Indian Muslims if you want to eliminate one of the root cause of Islamic terrorism. We have to retrospect ourselves for a better India-let it not be a concept but a practice that we can follow in our daily life. |
